Tayyibah Arif

Pilates Instructor

After years of self-practice, physio-led reformer rehab and one-on-one training with qualified instructors, Tayyibah completed her STOTT Pilates Instructor training. Working in a high-pressure city job in law, Tayyibah is passionate about using Pilates to destress, achieve mind-body awareness and uses movement to strengthen and condition muscles. She also focuses on correcting postures ignored when working in a desk job. She aims to incorporate fun, creativity and dynamic movement in her classes.

After having her first child, she used Pilates to regain core stability and pelvic floor strength and get back to long distance running without injuries. She incorporates breathing techniques, spine and pelvic mobility and core conditioning in her classes. Her goal is to take her clients on a journey of self-discovery to get in tune with their bodies and empower them to incorporate the Pilates principles and its positive energy and practice into daily life.
