Lucy Pattullo
APPI mat & reformer trained
Having been a lifelong movement devotee, Lucy decided to qualify as an APPI mat and Reformer Pilates instructor following her experience recovering from breast cancer surgery and treatment. Pilates became a lifeline to help her rebuild her strength, regain control and manage treatment side effects.
Lucy enjoys helping clients tap into the power of Pilates to build strength and mobility, balancing and energising the body, whilst calming the mind. She likes to work on improving movement patterns which her clients can access beyond the studio to promote injury and pain free functional ability in their daily lives and hobbies.
She has a particular interest in supporting women’s health and is a Certified Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist, having completed the Pink Ribbon Pilates Rehabilitation program as both patient and trainer. Lucy has developed her knowledge base undertaking many complementary courses ranging from Pilates for pelvic floor, menopause, Yoga for breast cancer and cancer with Vicky Fox and TRX suspension training.
Lucy loves a broad range of exercise and combines her own Pilates practice with yoga, strength training, cycling, running, skiing, barre, swimming and tennis. Lucy is a wellness advocate and is interested in lifestyle measures for longevity. As a keen cook with an interest in nutrition, she is currently studying Nutrition in Culinary Practice with Leith’s Cookery school.
