About APPI Clinics
APPI Clinics provide expert Physiotherapy and Pilates services delivered by highly trained, experienced, and qualified physiotherapists and Pilates instructors. We specialise in rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, pregnancy and postnatal care, and long-term movement health.

Referrals & Insurance
No referral is required to book an appointment or Pilates session. However, if you are claiming through private medical insurance, your insurer may require a GP or consultant referral. Please check with your insurer before attending.
Yes, APPI Clinics are registered with most major private medical insurers. Coverage varies between policies, so we recommend confirming your benefits directly with your insurer prior to your appointment. See our Insurance information page for full details.
Booking & Your First Visit
Appointments and classes can be booked online, by phone, or by visiting your local APPI Clinic directly.
All new clients must complete:
- A registration form
- A medical history form
These forms are emailed to you at the time of booking your first appoitmment and must be completed before your first appointment or class to ensure your safety and to allow us to provide appropriate care.
Yes. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and to ensure your session starts on time.
Payments & Policies
Yes. Payment is required either in advance or at the time of your appointment or class.
Yes. All clients are required to provide a valid credit or debit card to be held securely on file. This may be used in cases of payment in arrears, late cancellations, or missed appointments, in line with our cancellation policy.
We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy for all bookings – Physiotherapy, Rehab therapy, Massage, Pilates 1 to 1 and classes. All cancellations or changes should be communicated to our reception (by phone or email) or can be managed online for Cliniko bookings or via Mindbody for classes at least 24 hours prior to your booking.
- Late cancellations: Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of the booking are considered late cancellations and you will be charged in full or processed from your pre-paid credit.
- Early cancellations: Cancellations or changes made before 24 hours of the booking time are considered early cancellations and are eligible for a full credit.
- Missed appointments or classes: or what we call ‘did not attends’ (DNAs), also result in a charge for the full cost of that appointment or class.
Pilates Assessments & Class Levels
If you are new to APPI Clinics, we strongly recommend a 1:1 assessment before joining a Pilates class. This ensures the class level is appropriate, safe, and aligned with your individual needs.
We offer a structured range of classes, including:
- Beginner
- Improver
- Intermediate
- Intro to Advanced
- Advanced
- Teens Pilates
- Mat Pilates
Your physiotherapist or instructor will advise on the most suitable level for you.
No. The following classes are not suitable for clients with injuries or those who are not at a strong and secure intermediate level:
- Intermediate
- Pregnancy
- Intro to Advanced
- Advanced
If you are injured or unsure which class is appropriate, please speak to a member of our team before booking.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Care
Yes, you can attend Pilates while pregnant.
- If you are new to APPI Clinics, we recommend a 1:1 assessment before joining a beginner class.
- If you are an existing client and become pregnant, you may continue in your current class, provided it remains appropriate for you.
All exercises are carefully adapted to ensure safety throughout pregnancy.
Children & Teens
Yes.
- Clients under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to all physiotherapy appointments.
- Under 16s may attend Teens Pilates classes only and are not permitted to attend general adult Pilates classes.
Chaperones & Safeguarding
Yes. You are welcome to bring a chaperone to any physiotherapy or Pilates appointment.
Yes. APPI Clinics reserve the right to arrange a chaperone for any appointment where we deem this to be best practice and in the client’s best interests.
