Dayra Penagos
Pilates Instructor
Dayra provides Pilates and Barre classes, having originally entered the wellness industry to make a difference to the wellbeing of others. Her passion for Pilates started in 2012, while running a small Reformer Pilates studio in London. Dayra enjoyed taking Reformer classes as a perk of the job – and soon incorporated the practice into her lifestyle, before deciding to train as an Instructor herself. After practising Reformer Pilates for 4 years, Dayra gained her initial Mat Pilates qualification in 2016, followed by Pilates with small equipment, Pilates with orthopaedic conditions and Pilates pre-postnatal. She then enhanced her Reformer training in 2018 with the STOTT method.
Dayra feels fortunate to have experienced and learned a range of Pilates methods, since she has found it beneficial while working with different people. When not working, Dayra enjoys exploring places with friends or family – often on long walks, and regardless of the rain!
