Dayra Penagos
Lead Pilates Instructor
Dayra’s passion for Pilates started in 2012, while running a small reformer studio in London. Dayra enjoyed taking classes as a perk of the job – and soon incorporated the practice into her lifestyle, before training as an instructor herself. After being a reformer student for four years, Dayra gained her initial mat Pilates qualification, followed by Pilates with small equipment, Pilates with orthopaedic conditions and Pilates pre-postnatal. She then enhanced her reformer training with the STOTT method and gained knowledge of Pilates for scoliosis with APPI.
Dayra has experience in a range of Pilates methods, brings together effective sessions which focus on strength, flexibility, posture and stress relief. She is compassionate with all of her students’ individual needs, creating a positive atmosphere and utilising her experience to encourage client confidence, self-awareness whilst also helping them achieve their physical goals.
One of her own and favourite quotes which highly resonates with her purpose is “movement is a unique dialogue between your brain and body.”
