Meet the team

Eliane has a diverse role at APPI on the administrative team as well as a APPI trained mat instructor. Her movement education was as a professional ballet dancer at San Francisco Ballet and other international companies. Before entering professional life at age 17, she was a full scholarship graduate from New York City Ballet’s, School of American Ballet in NYC as well as LaGuardia High School for the Preforming Arts (“Fame” school).

As a young dancer and student, Eliane incorporated Pilates into her training regime for targeted strength and flexibility work, alignment enhancement and injury prevention. Eliane’s classes focus on the quality and precision of the movements through increased body awareness, whilst making sure they retain a fun and engaging atmosphere.

As a mother having extensive experience both with neurodiversity and with elite level competitive sports, Eliane also understands the importance of adapting to individual needs with compassion and encouragement.  She comprehensively integrates this way of being into both her roles at APPI.
