BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, FdA Dance, AACP, PGOP

Rachael Kuik is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist specialising in post-natal rehab, stress incontinence, diastasis recti and pelvic organ prolapse. Rachael graduated from Coventry University in 2007 and has since worked in NHS hospitals, outpatient settings and even backstage at the Royal Albert Hall with the English National Ballet. A love of dance from a young age and completing a foundation degree in dance performance has led to her current interest in this field of Physiotherapy. Rachael loves working with dancers across all genres from ballet to contemporary physical theatre to puppetry. Rachael also specialises in pregnancy and post-natal recovery in high level female athletes, lower limb sports injuries and those women who would like to return to running, CrossFit or weights after giving birth. Rachael regularly treats diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, C-section issues and hip and lower limb injuries.

Since becoming a mother herself, Rachael is even more impassioned with the need for high quality care across women’s health. Outside of work Rachael likes to keep fit with weights and running. She is often enjoying life through the eyes of her son!

Feel so safe and ache-free doing Pilates with Rachael – she really works on your personal posture to correct and free the pain that comes with pregnancy. Working with her makes you strong and flexible for labour. I feel great after a workout, and positive – knowing I’m in the best hands.
During my pregnancy my body was changing every day and started limiting what I could do. But you made a safe programme and I was able to continue doing Pilates exercises – which enabled me to dance until four days before I gave birth.
