Where we are

Ben Andrews

B.Sports Science, Personal trainer, Stott Pilates Instructor

Ben qualified as a Personal Trainer back in 2009 and wanted to further increase his knowledge to have the tools to help people back to fitness. At university he studied Sport Science, and later completed a STOTT Pilates course in both Mat and Reformer Pilates.

“I teach correctional movement to help you improve your body’s capabilities when completing daily tasks – increasing your energy levels so you can be more productive, progress towards a fitness goal and most importantly stay injury-free. When achieving all of this we can move well, feel strong, avoid injuries and both prevent and manage painful movement.

“Helping people feel better through exercise is my passion, so I hope to help you too. After suffering a knee injury back in 2007, I know from experience how important Physiotherapy is for rehabilitation. What I also found was the aftercare you give your body once you’ve worked with your Physio is vital. I discovered Pilates 6 years after my injury that caused chronic pain. Pilates is the answer to develop stability and pain-free movement – I wish I’d discovered it sooner.

“When I’m not teaching I’ll either be on a run, dog walk or playing the guitar with a few cheeky gins.”
