At APPI, we believe Pilates is for everyone. Regardless of age, physical activity has various health benefits. So we’ve developed an active aging workshop, designed specifically for older clients to introduce you to the benefits of Pilates. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), active ageing is “the process of optimising opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.”
Our workshop is open to all levels, we meet you where you’re at and help you to build strength, confidence, and mobility. This low-impact session focuses on strengthening muscles while improving balance, flexibility, and posture. Pilates exercises can also help maintain bone density without the high risk of breaks or fractures. On top of all those benefits, Pilates gets our feel-good endorphins going, leading to a more energetic mood to keep you performing at your best!
